The Huron Valley Promise was created by a group of area business, education, government and civic leaders dedicated to improving the future of all Huron Valley students in the Huron Valley community.
The Promise is a financial support system designed to initiate savings accounts to be used for post-secondary education. Promise grants are given to Huron Valley Schools’ kindergarten parents (for children aged 6 or under) to begin saving for post high school education.
By investing as little as $25, participants will receive a one-time grant of $100 to begin a college savings plan for a child. This money is placed in an investment account called a 529 MESP State Sponsored Savings Plan. The $100 one-time contribution is free from the Huron Valley Promise.
